Singapore's First Corydoras Keepers Rendezvous

A first ever in Singapore, Corydoras Keepers Rendezvous ( or CKR as it is now affectionally known ) was held on 3rd October 2003 at Plantas Aquaticas.
Approximately 30 members turned up for this gathering for the opportunity to learn more about corydoras and to interact with fellow corydoras keepers.

Several of our members volunteered to share their thoughts and experiences as far as corydoras-keeping is concerned.

Some of the topics covered within the first hour of this informal and interactive session included :

1) Choosing a good and healthy corydoras
2) Careful considerations in a corydoras tank setup
3) Personal experiences with corydoras
4) Cory breeding
5) Suitable tank mates for corydoras species

The next hour of the event allowed for free interaction with all members present, as well as for purchases of corydoras as well as other fish and items on display at discounted prices specially for this event and exclusively for petfrd members. It was also at this juncture that the surprise lucky draw was carried out and with some lucky people walking away with some cool prizes :)
